JOB DESCRIPTION

  • System-level design, analysis, modelling, simulation, and integration of mm-Wave transceivers and phased arrays
  • Design of mm-Wave transceiver circuit blocks such as LNA, Mixer, phase-shifter, VGA,  Switches, and power amplifier (PA) in CMOS, SiGe, GaAs, GaN
  • Behavioural or circuit level design of linearized high-efficiency PAs with different topologies like Doherty PA, Envelope Tracking, etc.
  • Present the research work in world class prestigious conferences and Journals
  • Work with industry partners for high yield Silicon proven results

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. PhD with proven academic and industry experience
  2. Experience in design of LNA, phase-shifter, PLL, Mixer, RF-switch, mm-Wave power amplifier (PA), VGA
  3. Good understanding of design trade-offs circuit-level spec derivation from system level requirements
  4. Knowledge of CAD tools such as CADENCE, MMSIM, MATLAB, ADS, Momentum, SystemVue, HFSS, and Microwave studio
  5. Hands-on experience on mask drawing and verification like LVS and DRC
  6. Working experience in using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc. to validate the designs
  7. Knowledge of radar, phased arrays, and carrier aggregation will be a plus
