The Sensors, Actuators, & Microsystems team is looking for photonics material and fabrication process integrators to support R&D projects through cutting edge process technology development, process integration and optimization. The Research Engineers will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop processes for the fabrication of Photonic devices.
The key responsibilities will cover:
· Work closely with designer, process module owners to develop process technologies and make integration platform suitable for manufacturing;
· Perform various research tasks, such as material development, integration design and implementation, design and run experiments, co-ordinate the module development activities to achieve the desirable result;
· Conduct integration lots, manage the lot progress and execute inspection steps;
· Process troubleshooting through inspection and characterization of photonics devices/structures and failure analysis
· Project management, report and documentation
Job Requirements
· Bachelor / Master degree in Electronics / Electrical / Material / Chemical / Mechanical engineering or relevant area;
· 3-5 years in semiconductor process development and integration in industry and/or industry collaborations;
· Good knowledge and experience with silicon micro-fabrication processes (e.g. lithography, etch, epi, CVD, diffusion, implant, PVD and CMP);
· Direct experience and knowledge in photonics process and integration will be an advantage;
· Knowledge and experience in wafer inspection and characterization methods;
· Good communication and presentation skills;
· Ability to work independently, as well as being an excellent team player;
· Strong interest in semiconductor related R&D works with self-motivation.
