The Advanced Robotics Application Group (ARA) focuses on the development of new technologies for industries such as Aeronautics, Manufacturing, FMCG, Logistics or Construction that facilitate the implementation of robotic automation solutions in real production scenarios. We are looking forward to incorporate new scientists in the team with knowledge on the areas of multi-robot systems, human-robot collaboration and robot-robot cooperation.
Responsibilities:
- Scope & lead projects for the implementation of robotic solutions.
- Lead the development of platform technology (software & algorithms).
- Active participation in technology roadmap planning.
- Brainstorming and preparation of program proposals for competitive funding.
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in Robotics or any relevant engineering discipline
- Experience in algorithm and software development for robotics and automation
- Experience with Robotics Operating System (ROS/ROS2)
- Relevant Experience in at least one of these fields: Multi-robot systems, Human-Robot Collaboration, Robot-Robot Collaboration, Teleoperation
- Experience with mobile robot systems (both ground and aerial) and system engineering process will be considered a plus
- Work experience and projects deployed in manufacturing, logistics or construction industries would be valued
- C++, Python based programming knowledge
- Willing to learn and adapt to new technology quick
- Technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver on time to customers
- Good communication and presentation skills
