Senior Manager (Strategic Outreach and Development), NSCC

As a Strategic Outreach and Development Senior Manager, you will be a part of a high performing, dynamic and important team of people that work cross-functionally across business development, marketing, and strategy. The team’s mission is to identify the corporate strategy for the future and create new business opportunities in strategic accounts and new accounts. The role requires our team members to be self-driven, creative, persistent, energetic, positive, and willing to learn.

Job Role:
-Implementation of business plans and support for key strategic industries for High Performance Computing (HPC)
-Responsible for OPEX cost recovery through securing new stakeholder contributions
-Drive, organized, and support outreach activities to Institutes of Higher Learning, Government Agencies, and industry enterprises
-Meet KPIs in terms of the number of industry-related projects supported by NSCC, adoption rate, workforce enablement for HPC
-Develop campaign strategies as well as management of operational marketing and customer relationship activities
-Build and maintain a key customer relationship with various governmental agencies, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), Research Institutes, and commercial organizations to ensure that NSCC meets its target
-Present to C-Level Executives on NSCC’s solutions and services that meet customers’ need
-Identify new opportunities, negotiates and closes engagements
-Assist in pricing solution/services
-Forecast, track and ensure targets and KPIs are met by the team
-Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and knowledge of customers
-Work closely with internal teams to meet customer needs and to increase base and projects
-Develop clear processes and systems for new business
-Attend industry functions and provide feedback and information on market and trends
-Oversee and liaise with legal team with the various governmental agencies, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), Research Institutes and commercial organizations
-Oversee and liaise with both internal and external teams on the various project agreements

Job Requirements
-Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or Business Administration
-Minimum 5 years of Administrative, Sales & Marketing (Account Management) or relevant working experience in the IT/ tech industry
-Good experience in strategic planning and market development
-Negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business and engagements.
-Highly organized and motivate
-Networking, strong interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills
-Experience in working with senior management to align business development strategies and solutions
-Good team player who must be able to adapt quickly and work independently when needed
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
-Experience in the government, IT and High Tech sector will be an advantage
