Job duties and responsibilities :
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, and Research Planning & Management, your main responsibilities will be to assist in writing press releases, managing media activities and GIS’ social media accounts such as LinkedIn and Twitter, preparing corporate promotional materials, organising international conferences, and handling corporate visits. You will also be responsible for managing pantry and stationery supplies. In addition, you will be required to assist with general administrative tasks as and when required.
Requirements
- Degree in Mass Communications or its equivalent with minimum 3-year relevant experience
- Good team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
- An independent individual able to work with minimum supervision
- Pleasant personality and able to interact with all levels of staff
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Possess drive and initiative with the ability to adapt to changes quickly
- Proficiency in photography and Photoshop will be an added advantage
