Job Description
The job is to enhance in-house ferroelectric and piezoelectric material growth capability, develop the best-in-class ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials, and obtain effective energy conversion or signal transmission functions and performance. The materials particularly include advanced ferroelectric and piezoelectric single crystals and films as demanded for producing competitive ferroelectric and piezoelectric devices, including but not limited to ultrasonic transducers.
Requirements:
-
Ph.D in physics, material science, engineering; or equivalent (a bachelor/master degree holder with at least 5 year R&D experience)
-
Passion in use-inspired research or development of ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials with competitive performance properties for device applications.
-
Any of R&D experience below: growth of high performance piezoelectric single crystal; solid-state crystal growth; fabrication of ferroelectric thin films and ceramics; piezoelectric characterizations; ultrasonic transducers; or ultrasonic imaging
-
Good track record in publication, patent, or commercialization in the relevant areas as stated above
