About Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI)
The Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI) is a research institute that brings together multi-disciplinary world-class research expertise in the areas of food science, nutrition, biotechnology, medical science, and food safety research under one roof. In doing so, SIFBI aims to bring cutting edge science in the forefront to drive food-based innovations. These capabilities will support the development of solutions particularly suited for the Asian market, including the discovery and production of health and sustainable foods and accelerate the transformation of the food industry.
About the Clinical Nutrition Research Centre (CNRC)
Recognized as a global centre of excellence, the CNRC’s vision is to develop an integrated programme that understands how food may be used to minimize the development of chronic diseases and promote healthy ageing through evidence-based science. With an extensive expertise and world-class facilities for clinical nutrition research, including whole body calorimeters and state of the art analytical instrumentations, we conduct both short- and long-term studies in human nutrition.
