Job Description
Responsibilities
• Develop the overall IT communications plan, ensuring that it is aligned with organization’s work objectives and priorities, and lead in the execution
• Promote, support and assist IT communication and engagement activities targeted at A*STAR staff and users
• Design, edit and publish IT-related messages to A*STAR staff and users (e.g. eNewsletter, eDMs, Intranet posting/updates, video clips, etc.
• Organise, promote and host IT seminars and events (e.g. Roadshows, IT Townhall / WorkPlan/ Workshop/ Teambuilding event etc) and oversee the execution to ensure smooth running of the events.
• Design and conduct surveys/quick polls to solicit feedback and coordinate with relevant parties on feedback action to ensure closure.
• Administer and manage content pertaining to IT matters in A*STAR’s intranet, taking guidance from IT leadership.
• Continuously devise innovative and useful ways (e.g. new digital tools and methods) to support user engagement and education.
Qualifications:
• A recognised degree with good understanding of IT especially in IT policy and user education/ change management
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience with good exposure to mass communications
• Independent worker with strong & excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong command of language is a must.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables etc.), Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, Collaboration and virtual conference tools (e.g MS Team, Zoom).
• Meticulous with good stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
