Job Description
We are seeking a data scientist with expertise in Statistics, Machine Learning, R and Python. The role involves developing and applying advanced machine learning techniques to integrate complex clinical, wearable, and population datasets, with a focus on building scalable and reproducible predictive models that can support early risk detection and policy-relevant insights.
Job Responsibilities

Developing and applying advanced machine learning and Bayesian methods to integrate complex clinical, wearable, and population datasets

Experience with large public health data environment, cloud computing, trajectory modelling, causal inference, and clinical prediction modelling to generate data-driven pattern will be an advantage

Building scalable and reproducible predictive models that can support early risk detection

Develop risk scores in subsets of populations

Able to follow strict timelines of intermediate outcomes of the project.
Job Requirements

A Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics or related areas from a recognized university. Minimum 1 year of experience.

Research expertise in machine learning, timeseries analysis, patterns in longitudinal smart wearables data, causal analysis, prediction models and risk analysis in clinical data would be an advantage.

Advanced quantitative research skills.

Proficiency with R, Python

Experience in cloud and HPC environments

Publication record in areas related to the above-specified research areas.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
