-Provide expert advice to on-board new users to NSCC’s systems
-Translate user requirements into optimal computational work plans
-Assist in the design of NSCC 2.0 systems, including benchmarking CFD related workloads on various platforms and recommending the most suitable architecture for the CFD community
-Engage with new researchers, communities and disciplines of the field.
-A postgraduate qualification or significant progress towards postgraduate qualifications in a relevant scientific or computer-science discipline.
-Proven working knowledge of CFD.
-Experience with one or more CFD or related software package (eg. OpenFOAM, WRF, etc.) is essential.
-Demonstrated high-level problem solving skills.
-Demonstrated effective communication skill including the ability to articulate technical concepts to a diverse range of clients.
-Demonstrated ability & willingness to contribute novel ideas and approaches in support of CFD user community.
-At least one published journal article or conference paper related to the field (please provide reference).
-To be considered for a senior position, the candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position and environment, and relevant project management skills or experience will be an asset.
