Assistant Head/Senior Officer, Science & Engineering Research Council, Transport, Security & Satellite Cluster

The officer will be responsible to synergise R&D and Innovation plans and initiatives in the Security area, which involves engagements with the defence and home affairs ministries and agencies.

This role includes, but is not limited to,

•             Support the design of programmes to achieve the desired outcomes by:

o        Coordinating complementary capabilities from research ecosystem;

o        Engaging relevant stakeholders for support & resources, e.g. industry, agencies and research performers; and

o        Organising activities and resources required to effect translation.

•             Administer the programmes, including budget management, scheduling & conducting progress reviews, and monitoring of deliverables & outcomes

Job Requirements

•             Background in a Science or an Engineering related discipline, preferably with at least 2 years of related work experience

•             Possess strong analytical thinking skills and abilities to learn fast

•             Results oriented, pro-active, and a team player

•             Resourceful, with astute planning and analytical skills

•             Organised, quality conscious, attentive to details and results-oriented

•             Strong communication and interpersonal skills
