· Perform audit compliance checks and ensure compliance for all network equipment.
· Perform software security and vulnerability management, including tracking and status reporting on network and security related devices.
· Manage / Work with external vendors to resolve escalated issues / incidents.
· Managing of network / network security related projects to meet projects? timelines and deliverables.
· Managing of proof of concept (POC) projects for the improvement of the network infrastructure.
· Provide 2nd level technical support, develop designs, and customize solutions to meet business and/or users? requirements.
· Participate / Support in network/network security related audit(s).
· After office hours? support will be required at times especially during network project deployment, planned/unplanned outages, and maintenance.
· Create and maintain documentation of network configuration, network diagram, mapping, processes, and service records.
· Take initiative to proactively discover and remediate deficiencies in network solutions, both deployed and in design phase.
· Drive efforts to restore, recover, or alter configurations, logical or physical, to maintain service integrity.
· Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
· Conduct research on network / network security products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the IT industry.
· Manage network assets, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
· Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
Qualifications
· Minimum Diploma in IT/Higher Nitec (or equivalent).
· Minimum 3 year of IT networking experience in LAN, Wireless and knowledge in network security is an added advantage.
· Experience in audit compliance, vulnerability management.
· Network certifications, such as CCNA is an added advantage.
· Strong communications and written skills.
· Excellent problem-solving skills in a multi-tasking, fast-paced and complex work environment.
· Good communication skill, positive attitude, team player, resourceful and resolve problems with minimum supervision.
· Flexible to work after office hours due to nature of IT support and service oriented.
