Job Responsibilities
Reporting to Deputy CEO, EDDC, for the following responsibilities.
Develop EDDC"s Value Proposition:

Build and articulate the value proposition for EDDC"s partnerships with Pharma, Biotech companies, VCs, academic partners, and drug discovery organizations.
Strategic Leadership:
Deal Structure and Negotiation:
Partnership Management:

Lead negotiations with business partners, crafting and negotiating term sheets and contracts for research and clinical activities, material transfer, licensing, and collaboration agreements.

Manage alliances, ensuring alignment with EDDC"s strategy, and nurturing strong working relationships with partners.
Partnership Governance:

Ensure proper governance of existing partnerships with Pharma, Biotech, and academic partners, including rigorous contract compliance.

Due Diligence Management:
Team leadership:

Provide leadership to a team of Business Development colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Mentor and guide team members, facilitating their professional development.
Job Requirements
-
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Business Development, Alliance Management or Project Management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Proven track record of successful deal-making and partnership development. Experience in leading major transactions.

Excellent negotiation, communication (spoken and written), and presentation skills

Strong knowledge of the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, drug discovery and development.

Well-organized and detailed-oriented.

Ability to multi-task and manage several projects concurrently.

Team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Self-starter, independent and self-driven.

Demonstrates critical thinking and integrity.
-
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory management position preferred.

Strong and existing networks within the early-stage life science community and key ecosystem stakeholders in Singapore are desired.
