Job description:

Assist in projects planning and execution, perform network upgrades and migrations

Work with vendors to deliver the project scope and meeting project deadlines

Provide network support to end users, manage incidents, problems and change requests
-
Proactively monitor network performance, ensuring high network availability and smooth operations
-
Responsible for keeping network operations documents and SOPs up-to-date
-
Perform evaluation, proof of concept and provide recommendations

Manage daily network operations
Job Requirements:
-
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent

Must be CCNA certified, CCNP preferred

Working knowledge plus at least a year's experience in networking technologies like Structured Cabling, WAN, LAN, VPN, Network Security, Wireless, iBGP, eBGP, Routing Protocol, OSFP etc.

Hands on experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including cisco, Brocade routers, Dell enterprise and cisco switches, network firewall, IPS, SIEM, vulnerability assessment and monitoring tools (e.g. Cacti, MRTG, etc.) Experience in IPv6 and Data Centre operations an advantage

Familiarity with Linux (as a user and system), container technology, security concepts, project management and ITIL processes will be added bonuses

Familiar with Dense wavelength division multiplexing DWDM) is a plus.

Familiar with basic Linux administration is a plus.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
