Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform secretariat duties for the funding initiative(s), including running of grant calls, convening of evaluation panels and engagement of various stakeholders.
- Execute policies and processes pertaining to the administration of the funding initiative(s).
- Communicate the funding initiative(s)'s policies and processes to public sector research performers.
- Liaise with grantees on pre- and post-award matters.
- Regularly review progress of awarded grants to ensure that KPIs, milestones and budget utilisation are on track.
- Build excellence in grants management through the development, refinement and implementation of best practices, within A*STAR and through working with other funding agencies.
- Support ecosystem-building activities for the funding initiative(s).
Requirements
- Possesses a tertiary degree
- At least 2 years of working experience in planning, governance and/or grant management roles
- Keen interest in work related to governance and grant management, especially in the research & development sector
- Strong problem solving, analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Resourceful and independent
- Able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
