Key Responsibilities:

Provide scientific and technical expertise to lead a research team to develop capabilities in assay design, development and bioactivity screening

Develop mechanistic understanding of the biological effects of identified bioactives

Develop research proposals and seek research fundings

Disseminate research findings through conference presentations and journal publications

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international research network
Job Requirements:

Possess a PhD degree in biochemistry, cell biology or relevant disciplines

Excellent knowledge and experience in microbiology and food fermentation
-
At least 5 year of independent research experience and leading a research team

Strong supervisory skills

Strong track record for securing research funding

Excellent publication track record

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels
