We seek a talented and highly motivated PostDoc to join the computational biology group of Dr. Anders Jacobsen Skanderup (www.skandlab.org).
Our focus is on developing integrated clinical, experimental, and computational approaches to solve important challenges in medical genomics, especially cancer diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will assist in developing and applying new computational approaches for analyzing massive data sets comprising tumor genomes, cell-free DNA, and rich molecular profiles from thousands of cancer patients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain research experience in the fields of Computational Biology, Big Data, and Medical Genomics.
Requirements
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field with strong emphasis on quantitative data analysis
- Strong and documented programming skills and experience with UNIX environments
- Experience with analysis of DNA and cell-free DNA sequence data is a requirement
