Job Description:

Engage with companies and agencies to understand their businesses, product/service offerings & technology needs.

Foster R&D collaboration between companies/agencies with researchers/research units in A*STAR SRTT, to drive impactful outcomes.

Proliferate IP portfolio of A*STAR SRTT through technology productization, licensing or formation of new spin off.

Work closely with industries and agencies to market the portfolio and research capabilities through collaboration and facilitate the technology transfer as needed.

Work closely with scientists and principal investigators in determining the scope of projects, costing estimation, agreement drafting, and negotiation with industries and agencies.

Provide management reporting support, market intelligence and facts gathering to facilitate decision-making and occasionally convinces others where strong interests exists to adopt new concepts and approaches.

Analyse problems and ensure compliance to A*STAR practices and policies.

Drive or support the development and execution of industry strategy for key R&D programmes under SRTT.

Takes ownership and responsibility for team's action and decision.
Requirements:
-
Master in Physical Sciences or equivalent.
-
5 years of industry/agency experience, with 3-5 years in a business development and/or technical strategic planning and execution role.

Candidates with experience and knowledge in advanced scientific concepts and cutting-edge technologies, preferably in advanced computing, high performance computing, quantum , semicon/electronics, will have an advantage.

Experience in project management in an R&D, Technology and/or Operations environment, interfacing with private and public sector agencies would be a plus.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
