The job is for a position in the National Robotics Programme (NRP). The office works with major stakeholders of the Robotics Community in Singapore to build-upRobotics R&D capabilities and promote its adoptions in Singapore. NRP does this by addressing market demands from multiple sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, Built Environment and Healthcare. Through the market demands, we will develop R&D capabilities and systems for adoption and commercialization for incountry needs and global export. NRP covers the entire life cycle from ideas generation, project formulation, R&D execution and last mile engineering.

The job seeks highly motivated professionals with Engineering, Science or Computer Science degree, with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experiences to undertake various tasks in NRP
-R&D planning & road-mapping
-R&D projects formulation and assessment of technical merits
-R&D projects management (includes admin, regular reviews and workshop)
-Management of R&D budget and grants for projects
-Planning and support activities to build the robotics ecosystem (end users and supply side companies)
-Secretary for some regular NRP meetings

Job requirements
-Minimum Degree in Engineering, Science and Computer Science such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mechatronics & Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science etc
-3 to 5 years relevant experiences in the areas such as R&D Projects Planning; Ideas Formulation; Road-Mapping; R&D Projects Management; Collaboration & Partnership; Prototype Adoption and Commercialisation; product development, product design and testing.
-A proactive attitude to problem solving. A strong leadership to orchestrate collaboration of various stake holders within the Robotics eco-system. Good people skills to network and work with multiple parties. Good writing skill to record mins and write papers for Steering Committee.
