Dr. Li Qi-Jing's lab is seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatician to join our team. Our research focuses on advancing immunotherapy through cutting-edge cellular and molecular approaches. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing high-dimensional datasets, particularly single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and spatial transcriptomics, to drive insights into immune cell function.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead or support analysis of single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing data.
-
Develop and apply pipelines for data integration, clustering, trajectory inference, and gene expression analysis.
-
Collaborate closely with wet-lab scientists to interpret and visualize results.
-
Contribute to experimental design, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation.
-
Maintain and document code, workflows, and datasets for reproducibility.
-
Stay current with new tools, methods, and relevant literature in immunology, oncology, and computational biology.
Job Requirements:
-
PhD, or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, or a related field.
-
Proficiency in R and/or Python and/or Perl and/or C++ for data analysis and visualization.
-
Strong experience with single-cell data analysis (e.g., Seurat, Scanpy).
-
Familiarity with data from platforms such as 10x Genomics, CyTOF, or spatial omics.
-
Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning as applied to biological data.
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Skills / Experience:
-
Background in immunology, oncology, or metabolism.
-
Experience working with multi-omics or large-scale clinical datasets.
-
Familiarity with high-performance computing environments and version control (e.g., Git).
-
Previous experience contributing to peer-reviewed publications.
