Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research using stem cell-derived retinal models to investigate mechanisms of ocular disease.
• Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments, working closely with collaborators including molecular biologists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians.
• Apply creativity and technical expertise to overcome research hurdles and generate novel insights.
• Prepare high-quality reports, manuscripts, and presentations to communicate findings to both internal teams and the wider scientific community.
• Maintain meticulous records of experiments, methodologies, and analyses in line with best practices, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

• PhD in Biological Sciences, preferably with specialization in Ophthalmology, Stem Cell Biology, or related fields.
• Strong interest in stem cell biology, ocular research, and regenerative medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design, conduct, and interpret experiments.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and deliver results on time.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in handling complex datasets.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary research environment.
