The Singapore Consortium for Synthetic Biology (SINERGY) is a national platform hosted at A*STAR Consortium Management Office. SINERGY aims to consolidate Singapore's capabilities in synthetic biology and harness synergies across industry sectors to create a vibrant and globally connected bio-based economy in Singapore.
We are seeking a self-driven candidate to be part of the team developing innovation partnerships between the various stakeholders in the ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
· Plan and strategize outreach and engagement with industry
· Organize Consortium events
· Organize and coordinate Consortium's communication strategy
· Co-ordinate communication and engagement with the Consortium's academic and industry members
· Assist in initiating and facilitating translational research collaborations
· Assist in Consortium's industry-IHL/RI interactions
Qualifications
· Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in biotechnology, life sciences, engineering, or related field from a reputable university
· >2 years of working experience in events organization, specifically within the life sciences sector
· Possess an understanding of the local biotechnology ecosystem and stakeholders
· Excellent organization and communication skills (both verbal and written)
· Ability to initiate, coordinate, and finalize projects
· Experience in hosting events and presenting in public is an added advantage
