We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader to join our optical clock development team and to lead a team of multi-disciplined metrologists and scientists to support our research programme in next-generation optical clocks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical clock technologies, particularly in the development of lutetium (Lu) clock.
Successful applicant will join our Time & Frequency Laboratory and be responsible to develop a broad range of solutions that enable progress in cutting-edge science of optical clocks that could lead to the SI Second being redefined. The candidate will need to:
· Lead and manage a team of scientists, engineers and metrologists in the research, design, and development of optical clock systems (e.g., Lu, Sr, Yb clocks).
· Oversee the planning and execution of dedicated experiments to evaluate and validate clock performance and reliability.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical clock technologies into practical applications and systems.
· Stay updated on the latest advancements in optical clock research and technology and incorporate relevant findings into project strategies.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all aspects of optical clock development. |
