ISCE2 is looking for a highly motivated candidate to join Digital Chemistry Division and drive data-rich experimental and process development workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic synthetic chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, implementing and driving projects in multiphasic and continuous flow, and process intensification.
Key responsibilities:
-
Drive ideation and projects involving multiphase flow processes, automation, digitalization and high throughput experimentation.
-
Implementation and development of flow technologies and analytics for projects.
-
Application of kinetic models and design of experiments (DoE) for flow development.
-
Utilisation of chemical analysis (UHPLC-MS, GC-MS, NMR, etc), including in-line/on-line flow analysis.
-
Writing of publications, research proposals and patent applications
-
Communicating with internal ISCE2, A*STAR and industrial collaborators.
-
Daily supervision of MSc and PhD Students for scientific aspects and well-being.
Key requirements:
-
Experience in synthetic organic chemistry, especially in continuous processing and high throughout experimentation.
-
