We are seeking a motivated and analytical Research Officer to join our team working on the techno-economic analysis (TEA) of biomanufacturing. You will play a key role in evaluating process economics, modeling production scenarios, and supporting the development of cost-effective and scalable bioprocess technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing process models of biomanufacturing workflows (e.g., cell expansion, media use, scaffolding, bioreactor operations).

Conduct techno-economic analysis to estimate cost of goods (COGs), capital expenditures (CAPEX), and operating expenses (OPEX).

Perform sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo simulations to evaluate economic risk and scalability.

Conduct literature reviews and extract quantitative data on yield, productivity, and cost assumptions.
- Support interdisciplinary discussions with bioprocess engineers
Requirements

A Bachelor degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

Strong interest in sustainable biomanufacturing.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of Python, R, or MATLAB is a plus.
