We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team in advancing precision measurement and metrology research for emerging technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and conducting experimental activities in the optical laboratory, with responsibilities of designing experiments, conducting detailed measurements, acquiring data, and performing in-depth analyses.
Given the multidisciplinary nature of our projects, we are looking for individuals with strong innovation capacity, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new techniques. This position offers a unique opportunity to design and implement state-of-the-art optical measurement systems for applications in semiconductor metrology, and next-generation sensing technologies?contributing directly to the advancement of Singapore?s national metrology capabilities and innovation ecosystem.
The potential topics include:
- Laser absorption spectroscopy, particularly Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS), for humidity and water vapor measurement, and related
- Optical characterization and inspection (e.g., ellipsometry, scatterometry, interferometry)
- Semiconductor optical fiber characterization, and its potential applications in optical sensing and wearable devices.
Job Requirements:
- Able to conduct optical measurements and analyses of data and develop metrological solutions for emerging trends.
- Knowledge and experience in optical measurements are required.
- Good knowledge in computer programming for instrument control and statistical techniques would be an added advantage.
- Enthusiastic, highly self-motivated attitude and being able to work in multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a team
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience
- Good communication and presentation skills
